About the role

Embark on a culinary journey with a Chef Apprenticeship at West Bulls - Hull. As a Chef Apprentice, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional food experiences for guests. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards, ensuring kitchen cleanliness, managing stock, and contributing to team meetings. No prior experience is necessary; a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn are key. You will work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months, gaining a nationally recognised qualification through work-based training, including remote coaching and workplace mentorship. The apprenticeship also includes Functional Skills in English and maths if required. Upon completion, there are opportunities for further progression to higher-level apprenticeships, with many chefs promoted to Head Chef annually.
