About the role
An exciting opportunity to continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a supportive early year setting. Develop your knowledge and skills whilst working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and supporting children aged 0-5 to learn, develop and thrive.
Duties:
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework. Plan and deliver engaging activities with support from experienced staff. Complete observations and contribute to assessments and learning journeys. Support children's personal, social and emotional development. Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice. Work closely with colleagues and families to support children's progress. Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children at all times. Follow safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality procedures. Recognise and appropriately report safeguarding concerns. Contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Pass, GCSE Maths Pass, Desired: GCSE Early Years Practitioner Pass. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, numerical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental, and patience skills are essential.
