About the role
Sunflower Nursery is seeking an apprentice to join their team as an Early Years Educator. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, promoting learning through play within the EYFS framework, and creating a safe and stimulating environment for children. The role involves assisting with daily routines, observing and monitoring children's progress, recording observations, and contributing to assessments. Apprentices will also play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging kindness, and supporting children's social skills. Effective communication with colleagues, children, and parents is essential, as is adherence to safeguarding and health & safety procedures. This apprenticeship provides a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified practitioner in the Early Years sector, with opportunities for progression into roles such as Senior Practitioner, Room Leader, Deputy Nursery Manager, and Nursery Manager.
