Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator (NL)

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn while having fun, supporting children’s learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children’s self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, and undertaking first aid training as required. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience.
