Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator (NL)

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with some prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years, and are looking to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities for children's learning and fun, supporting their development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources. Responsibilities also include preparing food for meals and snacks, assisting children with self-help needs, and maintaining high standards of Health and Hygiene. The position requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and the willingness to undertake First Aid and other relevant training to meet evolving standards and legal requirements. Upon completion, apprentices will become Level 3 practitioners with potential for permanent employment and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, with strong communication, organisational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Demonstrates initiative, creativity, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude.
