About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years and wish to advance their careers. Key duties include providing engaging activities that promote learning and fun, supporting children's development through planning and observation, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, preparing meals, and assisting children with self-help needs. The role also requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking necessary training such as first aid. All health and hygiene requirements must be consistently met.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English at grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above. Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgmental, and patience.
