About the role
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting, who are passionate about childcare and early years education and wish to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities for children's learning and development, supporting planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and assisting with children's meal times and self-help needs. Apprentices will be expected to be creative, enthusiastic, and adhere strictly to safeguarding rules and health and hygiene standards. The apprenticeship includes training for a paediatric first aid qualification and will equip the individual to become a Level 3 Practitioner, with potential for a permanent position upon successful completion. This role offers a pathway into further childcare-oriented careers, including social work, teaching, and management.
