About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in nursery or school settings who are passionate about childcare and early years education and wish to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that support children's learning and development, assisting with planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and preparing food for meals and snacks. You will also support children's self-help needs, demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm, adhere to safeguarding rules, and undertake required training, including paediatric first aid.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, creativity, initiative, a non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
