You will be responsible for logging cases, allocating them to the relevant service areas, and ensuring responses are made within statutory timescales. A key part of the role will be processing Subject Access Requests, which may involve reviewing complex and voluminous documents, such as social care files. You will also consult with service areas and stakeholders regarding information requests and escalating issues where necessary. Additionally, you will handle initial enquiries from the public seeking advice on accessing information and personal data, and support the day-to-day operations of the council's off-site storage service for records management.
