About the role
Horizon Healthcare is seeking an ambitious and motivated Nursing Associate who wishes to progress to become a Registered Nurse through a fully funded Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (Nursing Associate Step-Up Route). This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop advanced clinical knowledge and skills. Duties include delivering high-quality patient-centred care, supporting chronic disease management, performing clinical observations and assessments, wound care, health promotion, and participating in multidisciplinary care planning. You will also be responsible for maintaining clinical records, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and attending university teaching and placements. The role is designed to further develop clinical assessment, leadership, and professional nursing skills. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, there will be opportunities for progression within Horizon Healthcare, subject to service requirements and available vacancies.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English language (4/C or above), GCSE Mathematics (4/C or above), Foundation Degree Nursing Associate (FdSc) (Pass).
