Quality Control Laboratory Technician Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at BARD PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED, located at Napp Pharmaceutical Group Ltd in Cambridge. The role involves actively supporting routine and project-based laboratory activities, including performing analytical testing on various pharmaceutical products, learning and applying Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, and assisting with investigations into laboratory results. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, FTIR, and more. The position also includes contributing to laboratory continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate records. Entry requirements

• 5 GCSEs including Maths/English (Grade 4/C), A-Levels with 80 UCAS points, and at least a D in Biology/Physics and Chemistry. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, numerical, analytical, and team working skills are essential.
