About the role

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will play a key part in helping patients access the care they need. You will process patient hospital letters, open post, scan letters and patient records onto our system, process emails and distribute to relevant departments, and locate patient records and file back. You won't be expected to make clinical decisions; full training and clear guidance will be provided, making this an ideal stepping stone into healthcare. This is a new role for the practice and it is anticipated that the apprentice would progress into the full time role on completion of the apprenticeship. Horizon Healthcare are a friendly City centre GP practice with a diverse population of over 29,000 patients.
