About the role
Tops Yeovil is offering a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. This program follows the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard, with modules designed to enhance learning and relevance throughout the apprentice's practice. Duties include assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment for children, supporting daily checks, helping with meal preparation, and assisting colleagues with community involvement and school pick-ups. The role also involves supporting children's behaviour, acting as a role model, and ensuring a stimulating and appropriate learning environment. Upon successful completion, there is potential for permanent employment at the setting.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a clear DBS. Strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills are desired.
