About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years, seeking to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that foster learning and enjoyment for children. You will support children's development through planning and observations, prepare and maintain the learning environment and resources, and assist with meal preparation. Key responsibilities include supporting children's self-help needs, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm, adhering to safeguarding policies, undertaking First Aid and relevant training to meet legal and standard requirements, and ensuring all health and hygiene protocols are followed.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with creativity, initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental approach.
