As an Apprentice Receptionist and Call Centre Operative, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and support the team with a full range of reception and administrative duties.

Duties:

Job Summary:

Receive and make telephone calls

Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way

Receive and make telephone calls as required.  Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery

Inform patients of test results as required

To act as a chaperone when required by the clinician and make a record in patient’s notes after the examination

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Administrative skills, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Integrity, Honesty
