About the role

We are seeking a creative, organised and enthusiastic apprentice to support the marketing, planning and delivery of exhibitions, events and venue hire activities, including digital marketing, event management, and business development. The role involves promoting exhibitions, coordinating events, and marketing the gallery as a venue hire space. Key duties include creating and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing social media content, assisting with email marketing, updating website content, creating promotional materials, and capturing content during events. The apprentice will also support event logistics, promote the gallery for venue hire, respond to enquiries, and assist with sales activities. Additionally, the role involves building relationships with artists, businesses, and community organisations, identifying partnership opportunities, and supporting initiatives to increase visitor engagement and generate income. Administrative tasks include maintaining accurate records and assisting with reporting on marketing and event performance. This apprenticeship offers a strong desire to develop a career in marketing with potential for permanent position managing the marketing side of the business.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or 4. Desired: A-level any subject A-D pass. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, analytical, and team working skills.
