About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Wycombe Food Hub, a growing community organization dedicated to tackling food waste and supporting local people. As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator Apprentice, you will play a key role in promoting the organization's activities, attracting volunteers and supporters, and communicating its positive local impact. You will develop practical skills in marketing, communications, fundraising, and community engagement. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering marketing campaigns, creating engaging digital and print content, maintaining consistent branding, and gathering stories to showcase the organization's work. You will also contribute to campaigns for future services like the proposed Repair Hub. The role involves updating the website and social media, monitoring engagement, and responding to enquiries. You will also help attract volunteers and promote fundraising initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable experience contributing to real local impact.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or 4), Desired BTEC in Business or Marketing (Pass). Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Logical thinking, Team working, Social media experience, Content creation experience.
