Level 3 Nursery Apprentice

About the role

Kingston Day Nursery is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join their team as a Nursery Nurse Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides the chance to gain hands-on experience working with children while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification in Early Years Education at Level 3.

The apprentice will support the planning and delivery of engaging activities, assist in creating a safe and inclusive environment, and observe and record children's progress. They will work alongside colleagues and parents to support the care, learning, and wellbeing of every child, encouraging social, emotional, and physical development through play and interaction. Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene is crucial. The role involves attending training sessions and completing coursework as required by the apprenticeship programme. Desired skills include strong communication, IT, attention to detail, and teamwork. The apprenticeship includes a paediatric first aid qualification. Upon successful completion, there may be an opportunity for full-time employment. A DBS check is required.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
