About the role
Nutfield Day Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join their team. This role involves supporting the care and learning of babies and young children in the setting, working closely with lead educators to promote development and well-being. The apprentice will undertake an apprenticeship in Childcare (Level 3), gaining knowledge, skills, and behaviours in early years education, including a Level 3 Diploma and Paediatric First Aid. The position offers a career opportunity within the nursery and group. Duties include supervising children, communicating with children and parents, supporting daily routines, maintaining a safe environment, and writing observations for children's learning journeys. The nursery, established in 1994, is a Forest School with extensive outdoor learning opportunities. Safeguarding is a priority.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above are desired.
