Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator (WM)

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. The main responsibilities of this job role will include supporting the development of the childcare provision, assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements, and being a team player. You will provide challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately, undertake first aid training, and adhere to all health and hygiene requirements. The role also involves responsibility for equal opportunity, working with teams across the centre, supporting children's learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, and supporting children's self-help needs. You will be creative, enthusiastic, follow safeguarding rules, and work within confidentiality guidelines. Upon completion, you can progress to a Level 3 Practitioner with the potential for a permanent position, or explore roles such as Room Leader, management training, or even springboard into Primary Education or Paediatric nursing.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
