Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. The role involves providing excellent activities that ensure children learn through play, supporting their learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, and assisting with food preparation. You will also support children's self-help needs, be creative and enthusiastic, and follow safeguarding and health and hygiene rules. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with potential for a permanent position upon successful completion and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management. Training is delivered remotely, with online sessions and a tutor available for support. Paediatric First Aid training is also included.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or equivalent. Communication skills, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience are also essential.
