About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with existing knowledge and experience in a nursery or school setting, who are passionate about childcare and early years, and aspire to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that foster learning and enjoyment for children, supporting their development through planning and observation, and preparing/maintaining the learning environment and resources. Responsibilities also include preparing food for meals and snacks, assisting children with self-help needs, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm, adhering to safeguarding policies, and undertaking necessary First Aid and legal training. Maintaining high standards of health and hygiene is paramount.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving skills, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
