About the role

Fairy Bridge Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Early Years Educator Apprentice. This role focuses on ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health, and welfare needs of children are consistently met. The apprentice will actively participate in children's activities to stimulate and extend their learning, demonstrate sensitivity towards children and families, and assist with the induction of new children. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, promoting health and safety practices, and responding effectively to any arising issues. The apprentice will also participate in training and meetings as required and undertake other duties commensurate with the position. This apprenticeship offers a pathway to a career in childcare with a focus on early development and a safe, supportive learning environment.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. Desired skills include strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, team working, creativity, initiative, and a non-judgemental and patient attitude.
