Nursery Nurse Apprentice

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Nurse Apprentice at BLUE JAY NURSERY LIMITED. The role involves creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children aged 0-5, teaching within EYFS requirements, and participating in various indoor and outdoor activities. You will support children with self-care needs, communicate effectively with team members and parents, and contribute to the development of the childcare provision. The position requires a high level of service, creativity, and a strong understanding of safeguarding rules and regulations. You will also assist in meeting Ofsted requirements and be a dedicated team player, providing challenging and stimulating activities for children with a responsibility for equal opportunity.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths & English: C/4 or above, Functional Skills Maths & English: Level 2. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and logical skills are essential. Must be a team player, creative, show initiative, be non-judgemental, patient, and physically fit.
