About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children, preparation of food, and supporting children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking first aid training. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Initiative, creativity, and patience are also required.
