About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education and are looking to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning through fun, supporting children's development and observations, preparing and maintaining the nursery environment and resources, preparing meals, assisting with children's self-help needs, and maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health, and hygiene. The apprenticeship includes undertaking First Aid and relevant training to meet evolving standards and legal requirements. Upon successful completion, apprentices will become Level 3 practitioners with potential for permanent employment and further career opportunities in childcare, social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English grade 4 and GCSE Maths grade 4. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience skills are essential.
