About the role

Learn to MIG/TIG weld material from 2mm to 20mm thick, carry out quality checks on products against specification, and learn to read and understand engineering drawings. You will complete all practical and theory assignments required for the apprenticeship and represent the company professionally when attending college. General responsibilities include producing high-quality work to company standards, delivering on time, and suggesting improvements. You will work safely, report equipment defects, and wear PPE at all times. You will also learn about company products and services, receive training before starting new tasks or using new equipment, and hold regular reviews with your Line Manager and In-Comm Training to track apprenticeship progress.
