About the role
As a Glass Processor Apprentice, you will receive structured training and hands-on experience across a range of manufacturing processes, including cutting glass using semi-automatic equipment, operating glass washing machinery, manufacturing sealed units, filling spacer bars, and learning glass lamination processes and quality standards. You will also learn to interpret technical drawings, carry out quality inspections, and understand health, safety, and environmental requirements. Training will include forklift truck operation and specialist glass bonding techniques, with potential overseas training opportunities. This apprenticeship offers the chance to gain valuable manufacturing skills while working towards a recognised qualification in a growing business.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths & English: Pass/ A-C/ 9 to 4 (Desired). Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Number skills, Logical, Team working.
