Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. You will be responsible for providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn while having fun, offering challenging and stimulating activities, and supporting children's learning and development through planning and observations. You will also be involved in preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, and supporting children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking necessary training, including First Aid. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with being creative, showing initiative, being non-judgemental, and patient.
