About the role
Springwood Heath Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant SEND Apprentice to support pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, or autism. This role involves assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment, adapting learning activities, supporting ICT use, and providing individual and group support. Key duties include contributing to curriculum planning, monitoring pupil progress, liaising with parents and external professionals, and ensuring pupil safety and welfare. The apprenticeship offers a pathway to possible full-time employment upon completion.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4) and strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills.
