About the role

An exciting opportunity to become a Property Maintenance Apprentice at ASHMERE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE LIMITED. You will assist the maintenance team in carrying out routine maintenance to keep homes in good repair. Responsibilities include general repairs (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling), compliance and safety checks (fire safety, lighting, water hygiene), reactive and planned maintenance for immediate issues, maintaining external areas (fencing, drainage, grass cutting, gardening), and working respectfully with residents and staff in a caring environment. You may also assist on residents' outings. Upon completion, there are opportunities for further learning and career progression within the company, which is a multi-award-winning group of care homes with over 30 years of family-run experience, providing residential, nursing, and specialist dementia care.
