About the role
Assist experienced engineers with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV and security systems. This includes installing cameras, mounting equipment, cable routing, and configuring IP cameras and NVRs. The role involves supporting fault finding, troubleshooting, and system testing. Apprentices will work on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites, with potential for occasional travel and overnight stays. Health and safety procedures are paramount, as is maintaining tools and equipment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. A significant portion of working hours will be spent in England. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with a willingness to travel. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for progression to qualified engineer roles or specialization in advanced security systems, project management, or technical support.
