About the role

As an Engineering Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, developing practical skills in mechanical and electrical engineering within a fast-paced production environment. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while studying towards a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship. Duties include assisting with planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, installation, repair, and monitoring of production machinery. You will also contribute to continuous improvement activities, safety inspections, and waste reduction initiatives, ensuring excellent housekeeping and adherence to health and safety procedures. This role offers exposure to modern manufacturing processes and the opportunity to develop skills for a long-term engineering career. We seek an individual with a genuine interest in engineering and technology, eager to learn, with good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic IT skills are desirable, along with reliability, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
