About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in a hands-on Technical Apprenticeship within the Materials Laboratory team at Aggregate Industries UK Limited. Based on site, you will work alongside experienced technicians, learning to sample, test, and report on the quality of sand, aggregates, and bituminous products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and teamwork, contributing to the materials that shape our roads, buildings, and communities. Key responsibilities include ensuring materials meet high quality and safety standards, learning safe laboratory practices, understanding product usage in construction, conducting hands-on material testing, recording results, identifying and reporting issues, and supporting equipment maintenance.
