About the role

This Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join a respected healthcare role and earn while you learn. You will support the day-to-day running of a pharmacy, assisting customers, and working with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service. The apprenticeship includes completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification with full training and support provided. Key duties involve assisting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, and maintaining records. You'll also use pharmacy systems, ensure high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality, and contribute to excellent customer service. The role requires a genuine interest in healthcare and people, strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is needed. Upon successful completion, further progression opportunities within the sector may be available.
