About the role

This is a Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship opportunity at MANNS PHARMACY LTD in Hucknall. As an apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assisting customers and working closely with the pharmacy team. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided. Key duties include supporting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality. The role requires a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary. The apprenticeship typically lasts 15 months, with blended learning delivered alongside the job. Upon successful completion, further progression opportunities may be available within the sector. The employer requires candidates who can reach the pharmacy within 30 minutes.
