About the role

The Quantock Education Trust is seeking a Cyber Security Apprentice to support the protection of its school systems, networks, data, and people from cyber threats. The apprentice will gain knowledge of security operations, risk management, governance, and incident response while working alongside an experienced IT Team. Key responsibilities include providing ICT support and maintenance, monitoring IT systems, investigating security alerts, assisting with incident response documentation, and supporting vulnerability assessments. The role also involves managing user access controls, analyzing security data, responding to ICT issues, and contributing to business continuity efforts. Additionally, the apprentice will support phishing awareness campaigns and cyber security training initiatives. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in cyber security and a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Entry requirements
