About the role

This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience supporting a business-critical ERP platform, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills in software support, troubleshooting, databases, low-code development, software development using the Microsoft Technology stack, and testing. You will work alongside experienced developers and analysts.

Key responsibilities include providing first-line technical investigation and support for software issues, diagnosing and resolving application defects, learning and applying software debugging techniques, gaining practical experience with databases, supporting software testing activities, contributing to application enhancements, and maintaining accurate documentation.

This role is suitable for individuals with a proven interest in software development and technology, prior exposure to coding, and a basic understanding of web technologies. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role is located in Birmingham and requires a commute of 1 hour 15 minutes or less.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) inc Maths and English (A*- C / 9-4). A Level Maths, Science, Computer Science or similar (A - C).
