This apprenticeship opportunity as a Nursery Nurse Apprentice with CT Skills at Shanklin Day Nursery and Pre-school in Leicester involves providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged 0-5 years. Key responsibilities include delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements, and adhering to nursery policies and procedures. The role also entails planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with parents/carers. Apprentices will work with senior management to update self-evaluation plans and undertake reasonable duties as directed. A minimum of 6 hours per week will be dedicated to apprenticeship work and training, including monthly online 1-2-1 meetings with a tutor covering modules like risk management and child development, as well as practical training from the employer.
