About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing essential chair-side support to dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, managing patient records, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Duties extend to maintaining cleanliness of dental areas, managing stock of supplies, and undertaking other tasks to support effective patient care. The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above. Communication skills, attention to detail, customer care, presentation skills, analytical skills, teamwork, patience, and physical fitness are also essential.
