About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing chair-side assistance to dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and supporting patient well-being. The apprenticeship also covers administrative tasks, stock management, and maintaining dental areas. Applicants must be 19 or older due to insurance restrictions. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. Career progression opportunities include moving into management roles, or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
