About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical and customer service skills as an Apprentice IT and Digital Support Technician. You will provide first-line IT support to staff and students, helping to identify and resolve IT problems. Your responsibilities will include setting up various devices, supporting user accounts, assisting with classroom technology, and supporting Microsoft 365 applications. You will also gain experience with device management technologies, software installation, and maintaining IT records. This role involves working with experienced colleagues, escalating complex issues when necessary, and participating in ICT projects. The apprenticeship also covers essential training in safeguarding, information security, GDPR, and health and safety, with a commitment to completing your apprenticeship training and applying your learning effectively. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities for further qualifications or a full-time role.
