About the role

ASB DELIVERY SERVICES LTD is seeking a Warehouse Apprentice to join their team in Morley, Leeds. This role involves receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods, picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders, and loading/unloading vehicles. You will also be responsible for stock checks, updating inventory records, and ensuring products are stored correctly. The apprentice will utilize warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices, adhere to health and safety procedures, and support the movement of goods throughout the supply chain. Key responsibilities include assisting with quality checks, working collaboratively to meet operational targets, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Communication with colleagues, supervisors, and customers is essential, as is the ability to book deliveries. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued. Successful apprentices will have the opportunity for career progression within the company, potentially moving into supervisor roles. The training will involve work-based delivery combined with monthly tutor workshops to ensure the acquisition of nationally recognized qualifications.
