About the role

This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive introduction to warehouse operations and cleaning within the assistive technology sector. You will gain hands-on experience in a variety of warehouse skills, learning from experienced staff and gradually taking on more responsibility. The role involves understanding and adhering to health and safety regulations, assisting in the construction and modification of community equipment, and maintaining workshop equipment. A key aspect of the apprenticeship is to develop strong organizational and cleaning skills to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. You will also be expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, and keep a logbook of your learning and projects. Upon successful completion, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment with Medequip, a leading specialist logistical business in the Health and Social Care sector.
