About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Ford & Slater, a leading DAF Trucks dealer group, as an Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor. You will gain hands-on experience in a busy parts department, learning essential skills such as safely storing and organizing parts, handling stock deliveries, processing customer orders and payments, and using computer systems for inventory management. You will also learn to identify and source parts for vehicles, assist customers with enquiries, and resolve problems. The role involves working as part of a team and adhering to company procedures. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with good communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, administrative, and team-working skills. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above are essential. Upon completion, there is potential for further study, including a Level 3 qualification, and a career progression route within the automotive industry.
