About the role

As an Apprentice Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our service department customers. You’ll learn how to handle service bookings, schedule workshop jobs, provide accurate service and repair updates, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at every stage of the service process. Duties include welcoming and assisting customers, booking vehicles for service and repairs, liaising with technicians, preparing job cards and estimates, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer care. This apprenticeship is delivered through work-based learning, with a dedicated tutor providing online group teaching and monthly 1-1 training. The most immediate post-apprenticeship role is that of a fully qualified Service Advisor, with potential for further career development within the aftersales function.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Key skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, administration, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
