About the role

Become a highly skilled press operator with this apprenticeship at LABEL EXPRESS in Croydon. You will be trained to set up and run both 8-colour flexographic and digital LED inkjet printing presses. Key responsibilities include preparing and mixing inks, adjusting machine settings, monitoring print quality, loading materials, inspecting for defects, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining production records. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. You'll also need to be physically fit due to lifting requirements and have your own transport due to shift hours. Upon completion, you'll be a valuable asset in the print and packaging industry, enrolled in a 30-month Level 3 'Print Technician' apprenticeship delivered by BPIF Training.
