About the role

ARTEMIS INSURANCE BROKERS LTD is seeking an ambitious and professional individual to join their team as an Insurance Broker Apprentice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within the insurance broking sector while completing the Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeship and working towards a recognized professional insurance qualification. The apprentice will support experienced professionals in developing technical knowledge and commercial skills to assist clients, understand their insurance needs, approach insurers, and arrange suitable insurance solutions. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, understanding client businesses, obtaining and reviewing insurer quotations, negotiating terms, preparing insurance documentation, and assisting with new business and renewals. The role also involves maintaining client communication, developing relationships with insurers, accurately recording information, adhering to regulatory requirements, and identifying growth opportunities. Apprentices will gain advanced knowledge in insurance principles, broking, risk assessment, products, regulatory compliance, client management, negotiation, and professional communication.
