About the role

This is an 18-month government-funded apprenticeship for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, offered by City & Guilds. The role involves providing chairside support to clinicians, sterilising and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily tasks encompass welcoming patients, managing basic enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting during treatments, and updating patient records. The apprentice will also be involved in stock management, maintaining clinical areas, and upholding patient privacy. Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and logical skills. Ability to work as part of a team, take initiative, be non-judgemental, patient, and physically fit.
