About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join the laboratory and wider technical team at PERMAROCK PRODUCTS LTD. As an Apprentice Laboratory Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in the development, manufacture, testing, and quality control of the company's render, insulated render, and coating systems. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training while working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification. Key duties include assisting with material and product testing, supporting product development, accurately recording test results, maintaining product quality, and adhering to laboratory procedures and health and safety regulations. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, reliable individual eager to learn and develop their skills.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs in 5 subjects including Maths, English and Science at grade C/4 or equivalent. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, administrative, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team with initiative.
